Dynamic Simulation of Partial Load Operation of an Organic Rankine Cycle with Two Parallel Expanders

The parallel expander ORC system is one of the solutions for providing an additional power output by improving partial-load performance ORC. corresponds to conditions switching between various combinations expanders. During this process, dynamic behavior occurs, which have not been characterized well in open literature according best authors’ knowledge. In study, we developed a modeling using dual expanders (DE-ORC) study responses during its mode changes. System components were simulated open-source library ThermoCycle written Modelica language.
